Caeden frowned at Jaan. "Because it's small. And annoying," He replied. "And what can I do about it?" Not much, really. Jaan was in no position to heal him right now, and it wasn't that bad anyway. The infection seemed pretty slow moving, and Caeden was certain he could handle it... up until a certain point. "Sleep. Rest. Don't f.uck with Rhys tomorrow. Let him unload on me." I can take it. The Imperi laid flat on his back and closed his eyes. However uncomfortable that bed was, he was too exhausted to care.

Both men drifted to sleep.

---

Jaan found himself awake to the flickering lamp he'd settled by. He was immediately struck by the unmistakable, oily feeling of the Imperi--So thick he could smell it. if the Estrallaen were to look over at his cell mate, he'd see Caeden sitting upright, staring at the wall, a blank expression on his face. The lamp cast shadows on the Imperi that made it look as though he was grinning much too widely.
